6061 Aluminum Bar Characteristics:
6061 is an alloy that can be strengthened by heat treatment. It has good formability, weldability and machinability. It has medium strength and can maintain good maneuverability after annealing.
The main alloying elements of 6061 alloy are magnesium and silicon. Magnesium and silicon alloys have many characteristics. It has excellent machining performance, excellent welding characteristics and electroplating, good corrosion resistance, high toughness and no deformation after processing, dense material without defects and easy polishing, easy coloring film, excellent oxidation effect.

T6 and T6511 are both tempers, or variants, of 6061 aluminum. They have the same alloy composition, but have different mechanical properties are a result of their different processing. Some notable differences:
T6511 has slightly higher fatigue strength (100 vs. 96 MPa)
T6 has higher shear strength (210 vs 170 MPa)
T6 has higher ultimate tensile strength (310 vs. 290 MPa)

The difference between T6 and T651 is that in general, the internal stress of T6 will be larger and the processing will be deformed, the most suitable state for processing should be T651, which is stretched on the basis of T6 to eliminate internal stress.
